The first restaurant arranged in the British pub style, which was opened in 1996, on the Algirdo street, laid the foundation of the exceptional style of FORTAS restaurants: safe and democratic environment, excellent specialties, wide range of salads and main courses, and friendly service. FORTAS was one of the first restaurants in Vilnius to spread the Western European culture of casual restaurants. FORTAS has become an old mate, a shelter, ‘homey’ and irreplaceable place for many of its regular visitors. We appreciate and are proud of that very much.
